Signs your practice has an operations problem

Your practice makes money. Patients keep coming. So why does every week feel harder than the last?

55%

of physicians don't have the staff or time to appeal denials

You're doing the work but not getting paid for it

Prior auths pile up. Denials sit. Nobody owns the follow-up, so the money never comes in.

7.3 hrs

a week on admin work, on top of 13 hours of documentation

You're the answer to every question

Scheduling, billing, staff issues. It all lands on your desk.

84%

of medical groups report higher operating costs than last year

Your overhead keeps creeping up

No big changes. Costs went up anyway, and it comes out of your pay.

28%

of practice leaders say staff turnover rose this year

You can't keep good people

Medical assistants and front desk staff leave most. The knowledge walks out with them.

41.9%

of physicians reported burnout symptoms in 2025

You're profitable, but you're tired

If it only runs because you push it, it isn't stable.

None of this means your practice is broken. It means your systems haven't caught up to your growth.

Meet Ginger Hilton

I've worked inside the practices I now fix

I spent nearly 20 years inside medical practices. I built processes from scratch, fixed broken ones, and became the person everyone called when the software acted up. I cleared a billing backlog in three months and grew revenue while doing it. I led a software switch that took a four-hour daily task down to ten minutes.

Some people see a 20-step process and accept it. I start counting how many steps I can cut.

FAQ

Questions practice owners ask

What is an operations review for a medical practice?

It's a three-week look at how your practice actually runs. I review your numbers, walk your workflows, and talk with your team. Then I hand you the top five places you're losing time or money and a 90-day plan to fix them.

Do you take over our billing?

No. I'm not a billing company, and I don't audit outside billing companies. I look at what happens inside your practice before and after a claim goes out: insurance checks, prior auths, documentation handoffs, and who follows up when a denial comes back. Then I help you tighten those steps, whether you bill in-house or outsource it.

How much time does my team need to give?

About an hour with you to kick things off. Before that meeting, I'll send a short list of reports to pull together, like your P&L and recent denial reports, so we don't spend our hour hunting for numbers. After that, I'll need short conversations with a few key staff. I work around your patient schedule.

What happens after the 90-day plan?

That's up to you. The plan is yours to run on your own. If you want help putting it in place, your $1,950 counts in full toward Strategic Ops Advisory if you sign within 60 days of booking.

Do you work with dental offices and med spas?

Yes. I work with physicians, specialists, surgeons, dentists, med spas, and wellness practices. The problems look a little different in each one. The fix is usually the same: someone owns each process, and the practice doesn't depend on one person to hold it together.

Why do I need to book by December 5?

So I can finish your review before the holidays. You walk into January with a plan instead of starting the year guessing.
